ResponSEAble North Sea workshops

As a “real-world” project, ResponSEAble includes a regional process based on series of regional workshops, held in the different sea regions in Europe: the Black, Mediterranean, Baltic and the Atlantic Arc.

ResponSEAble regional workshops will:

• Explore the diversity of ocean literacy strategies and actions contributing to ocean literacy at the regional sea level;
• Investigate the conditions for success of awareness raising and education campaigns;
• Identify means and strategies to assess efficiency of knowledge dissemination.
• Produce recommendations for the development of ocean literacy and awareness raising strategies

These workshops will be held in a format of 1-1,5 day presentations and discussions in English language and are open to people in charge of education, awareness raising and other means to develop Ocean Literacy in research and education institutions, NGOs, industry bodies, international organizations and management or policy-making bodies.  Please follow the links for additional information, registration, agenda for each workshop.
